Hard to find drought tolerant shrub native to the Great Basin with growth to 5ft . It has beautiful blue green foliage with yellow flowers. It’s twisted gnarly branches add interest to any landscape. This is the plant that literally covers the vast interior of the west with it’s beautiful blue aromatic foliage. It has been used by native people for it’s medicinal properties for ages. Excellent in a grouping or mass planting where a no water choice is desired. All plants are shipped in their 2 3/8" x 3 3/4"" container. Zones 4-9

I've been dreaming of trying to establish artemisia tridentata on my small southern appalachian property, and have developed microcliamtes for growing several dry aromatic varieties of plants, but it's been so hard to source a. Tridentata. I'm so grateful to find it here and I received beautiful, healthy, well packaged plants. I've planted them in three different areas to experiment with which ones take. The bulk discounts offered made that accessible to me, and it felt necessary. So far, all the plants in one location (sunny, rocky, slope) are thriving. Half the plants on a different slope are just hanging in there, and my potted ones didn't make it. I consider this a success, as I don't know anyone cultivating artemisia tridentata in our growing zone. Depending on how winter goes, I'll know where I can grow it then order more!
